Another Magical Monday in Costa Rica – Monday, March 1, 2021

Today was another fantastic day in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. Me and Remi started off the day in school. We finished early and my dad made a great breakfast that consisted of eggs, toast, fruit, potatoes, and ribs! This big breakfast was able to hold us over for most of the day as we then went to a really cool waterfall and river area called portalon. We had a blast spending around 2 hours there jumping off the waterfall into the fresh water river with a ton of fish. We got tired after a while so we decided to head to dinner. But when we got to the car we realized that the parking spot wasn’t so great as the front tire was hanging off an edge! My dad was able to get the car out of the spot without causing any damage thankfully. We drove to the grocery store to pick up a few items and then went to dinner. We went to El Avion, where we have eaten before but me and Remi liked it so much we wanted to go again. This place is really cool, it has a real plane from the Iran contraband scandal way back in the day. I had a delicious linguine with shrimp and clams. After dinner we headed home and finally had a early night as the days have felt really long. Overall another amazing day. -Mason
