Another amazing day. We started out the day waking up really early around 7:30 am and this is because we had a long 3 hour drive ahead to get to Monteverde. We got everything packed up and made our lunches because we wouldn’t be home till late. We hit the road at 9:00 am and arrived in Monteverde at noon. We decided since we had a ton of time we would eat our lunches, which were PB&J sandwiches with some chips, and head on over to the forest for a quick hike. We went along to a beautiful waterfall and went back to go zip-lining which was at 2:30. We got to the place and suited up for an action packed adventure. We had 10 total zip lines and 4 of those were +800 meters! The views were fantastic as you could see everything including the volcano and the Pacific Ocean. We did all the zip lines and had to repel down from one of the areas and climb back up through a really unique hollow tree which was super cool! We finished zip lining at 4:30 pm and we decided we wanted to make it back to town before we ate dinner. We got back very quickly and had dinner at 7:00 pm at a really nice taco place where I had a few delicious carne asada tacos. We called it a night pretty early and drove home. We stopped at the grocery store to get a few things and got home at 8:30. What a fantastic day with amazing views. This was one of the best days yet!
