Mellow Monday 3-22(By Mason)

The past week and a half has been a very slow and relaxing one ever since the rafting tour we took. We got to Tamarindo really late after the tour. We were in a house that we didn’t really like for 2 days so we decided to switch to a different place. And this new place was amazing. It was right on the beach and had a pool in the backyard. It was everything we wanted. We were all exhausted and decided we would take it easy and not do too many activities since we already knocked out most of the ones we wanted to do. While we have been in Tamarindo, we have done some things. We started off by going into the town area to look around. The next few days were stay at home beach days. Then last Friday we went to a barbecue at the hotel down the beach because they were celebrating there anniversary. We got there and listened to live music, went in the ocean, and relaxed. We had a really nice meal with all different types of meat and fish. I really expanded my taste palette. After it ended we walked home and swam in the pool for a little while before calling it a night. We didn’t do anything again on Saturday. But Sunday we had a nice tanning day where me, Remi, and my dad all laid in the sun for the whole day. Then later we went to a local market that they had set up at a skate park. There were a ton of kids there that we met and they were all really nice and chill and told us about how it was living in Costa Rica. Today was another day of school and nothing but that’s okay because we are enjoying the beach and the house that we are in. Our stay in Tamarindo wasn’t anything spectacular, but it was definitely a nice laid back relaxing time that we all needed and wanted.
