Scary Saturday 3/27/21 (By Mason)

Finally a day with no school work to worry about, we all slept in till around 9 am then got ready for the fun day ahead. We had smoothies for breakfast and started left the house at 10:30 am to go bungee jumping! We drove 15 minutes up a rocky and narrow road to the bungee jumping place. It was a very large park that had multiple activities to do. We signed in and got weighed to make sure we were able to go and then waited till it was our turn. Once we were all ready we walked down to the cart that took you out into the middle of the valley. We were last in line because there were 3 of us. We waited with these British girls who told us about their trip and what they had done. It was then their turn and we watched them go. Me and Remi were nervous but excited. We got on the cart and put on the gear that was necessary for bungee jumping. We rolled out to the middle and got clipped onto the bungee cord. I said I would go first and got ready to jump. I did not think about it or look down. They counted down from 5 and when it hit one I jumped and put my arms out like a bird. It was exhilarating. The feeling was indescribable. The view on the mountains was perfect. They let down a rope to clip yourself onto so they could lift you up. Remi went next and all you can hear was a loud screech. Last was my dad and he went backwards because he was a little cocky. We ended around 1 pm and bought our pictures. We went back to the house and rested until dinner. We went back out into town and walked around and bought shirts from some of the local stores. At 7:00 pm we went to dinner at a really cool restaurant with a tree going through it. The food was really good, me and my dad shared a pizza and fettuccine Alfredo. We were all exhausted and went back to the house to go to sleep. The night ended early but what a fantastic day. I can now say I did one of the tallest bungee jumps in the world.
